Track Name: Soho (Intro)
I was walking in London's Soho district on a cold winter day. What had brought me there I couldn't say for sure. My two best friends had just died, one of natural causes and one from suicide. I tried to pretend as though nothing had happened, to continue with my job, but my boss could see I was barely functioning and told me to take two weeks off.
For two days I sat in my apartment with the lights off and the shades drawn, feeling sucked down into a whirlpool of grief and depression. I knew that if I didn't get out of the house I'd go mad, so I took a flight to London and spent my nights wandering from one dark street to another, drinking until I was numb.
It was in this condition that I met Vincent, a tall, slim man dressed all in black and wearing a long cloak. Both his age and his accent were difficult to place. He said he'd overheard me talking to the bartender and from my accent he thought I must be from the United States and he proceeded to ask me question after question, saying that he'd travelled throughout most of the world but never been to the Americas.
We talked for quite a while and I have to say I was grateful for his company because it temporarily took my mind off my own dark mood. When the heavy mist turned to rain however, and a dog barked in the distance, a shiver ran down my spine and I had a sudden desire to get back to my hotel room.
I told Vincent 'goodnight' and he begged me to join him and his friends the following night for a tour of some of London's secret, hidden places that most tourists never get a chance to see. Intrigued, I told him I would think about it but he seemed very insistent.
We parted ways and I went back to my hotel, dripping wet, still drunk and wandering about this mysterious stranger and if he had hidden motives or was simply a friendly, but eccentric character.
The answer to my question came soon enough and I found myself in a bizarre underworld, both terrifying and spectacular. I was faced with decisions which are highly unbelievable, but true, and although Vincent called this this cryptic place as "Le Vie Eternelle," I will always refer to it as "The Darkness."
Track Name: The Darkness
"THE DARKNESS"
January 24, 2012
-verse 1
Nothing good can come of this now
I'm lost in desperation
Lost sight of my aspirations
Nothing matters any more
When I'm in this desolate place
The lights are off and I’m in the darkness
Need some emancipation
Lost in this desolation

-CHORUS-
I'm running blind
and I can't see
where I'm headed
I can't breathe
I'm in the Darkness
I need a candle
To shine some light on me
Shine Some Light on Me
The Darkness has covered me

-verse 2
Where am I going?
I can't see the future
I run from my past
Nothing good seems to last now
No one can save me
Lost hope in eternity
So what does that make me?
So what does that make me?

CHORUS

-verse 3-
Tell me who has bewitched me?
What is this sorcery?
That left me so hollow inside?
Can’t fill this vacancy
I'm supposed to be strong now
But I've lost all my strength
I loved without caution
And without guarantees so…

CHORUS
Track Name: Incommunicado
We used to talk
We used to love
We used to eat
We used to touch
We used to laugh
We used to
hold each other's hands

We used to play
We used to dance
We used to sleep
We used to drink
We used to love
We to hold each other

Now we don't speak anymore
Now we don't love anymore
Now we don't talk anymore

Incommunicado
Love life's so staccato
Conversation's
Like the rhythm of this song

We used to meet
We used to smile
We used to walk for miles and miles
We used to make love til the break of dawn
We used to play
We used to dance
We used to sleep
We used to eat
We used to drink
We used to hold each other

Now we don't speak anymore
Now we don't love anymore
Now we don't talk anymore

Incommunicado
Love Life's so staccato
Conversation’s
Like the rhythm of this song

We don't even make love anymore
Track Name: Chill
CHILL

There's a chill in the air
and I'm shivering now
as I walk through the streets
of London town

I'm no longer alive
I'm halfway dead
I'm lost and confused
without you here

How do you mourn
the loss of a loved one?
How do you say good bye?

How do you mourn
the loss of your best friend?
There's simply no way
No one can replace them

CHORUS
It's cold outside
And it's cold in my soul
I feel so alone
Without you

It's cold outside
There's a chill in my soul
And I'm so alone
Without you

There's a mist everywhere
that I can't escape
as I walk through the streets
and stare at the ground

I feel like a ghost
I'm barely alive
I'm lost and confused
Without you here

How do you mourn
the loss of a loved one?
How do you learn
to say goodbye?

How do you mourn
the loss of your best friend?
What do you do
when you can no longer cry?

CHORUS
